Bonjour et bienvenue!

If we haven’t met yet, I’m Pamela Vasquez—Madame V to my students—and I’m so glad you’re here. I’ve spent the past 20+ years teaching French in a wide range of settings, from public and private schools to homeschool co-ops and private tutoring. I believe that French can be accessible and fun for all learners. I also believe that the resources we create play a huge role in making that possible.

That’s why I work with teacher-authors of French-language CI novels and TPT creators who are passionate about supporting language acquisition through compelling, accessible materials. My goal is to help them create high-quality resources that are error-free.

For several years now, I’ve been supporting teacher-authors by helping them shape and refine their work—especially CI novels and French teaching resources designed for novice and intermediate learners. After training with the amazing Anny Ewing before her retirement, I began offering a full range of editing services, including developmental editing, copy editing, and proofreading in French. Whether it’s a comprehensible input novel, a cultural reader, or French class activities for your TPT store, I love helping authors create materials that students can truly enjoy and understand.

I also understand the writing process as an author. I’m currently working on two French CI novels: a historical fiction story about the 1911 theft of the Mona Lisa for novice-high to intermediate-low readers, and a lighthearted tale for novice-low students about a girl and her mischievous African Grey parrot. So if you’re feeling stuck mid-draft, unsure of how your story will land with students, or ready for a second pair of eyes—I’ve been there too.
